The Spouse of the President Attends Diplomatic Training of the Global First Ladies and Gentlemen Platform
On Thursday, 14 May 2026, Dr. Aleš Musar, spouse of the President of the Republic, attended diplomatic training for first ladies and gentlemen on the topics of soft power, inclusive diplomacy, and the future of international relations. The training was co-organized by the Global First Ladies and Gentlemen Summit Platform in cooperation with the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Spouses of heads of state from seven countries discussed the role of soft power in modern diplomacy, inclusive diplomatic practices, and the challenges facing international relations in a time of global change and the development of artificial intelligence.
The Global Platform, founded by the First Lady of Ukraine, brings together more than 50 first ladies and gentlemen from around the world and promotes humanitarian, educational, and social initiatives through the power of diplomacy.
Following the event, participants from Albania, Austria, the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Slovenia, and Ukraine also visited the residence of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom at 10 Downing Street, where they were received by his spouse, Lady Victoria Starmer.
