Publish date Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
In the presence of the Prime Minister of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Ms. Marija Buhač, several ministers, the initiator of OSI MEN Mr. Oliver Soldo, and above all war victims who lost a leg in mine explosions, Dr. Musar, just one day after World Bee Day, officially opened the new Centre. The Centre is situated in a beautiful natural setting right next to the Buna River.
As Dr. Musar emphasized in his address, this outstanding new initiative will enable mine victims from Herzegovina not only to promote and sell their honey products, but also to develop apitourism and facilitate the transfer of beekeeping knowledge and technologies from Slovenia to mine victims, thereby contributing to their psychosocial rehabilitation, strengthening communities, and fostering connections within Bosnia and Herzegovina.
