Dr. Aleš Musar Attended the Signing of an Agreement Supporting Humanitarian Projects of Kuwait’s KFAED and Slovenia’s ITF
As part of efforts to support the humanitarian work of Slovenian non-profit organizations, Dr. Aleš Musar, spouse of the President of the Republic, attended the ceremonial signing in Kuwait of a Cooperation Agreement between the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) and the ITF Enhancing Human Security.
Publish date Kuwait,
The agreement, signed at KFAED headquarters on May 5, 2026, by Mr. Waleed Sh. Al-Bahar, Director General of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, and Amb. Tomaž Lovrenčič, Director of ITF, enables stronger cooperation between the two institutions in the planning, implementation, and financing of humanitarian projects dedicated to victims of war, specifically in Ukraine and Syria.
During talks with Director General Al-Bahar, Dr. Musar expressed great satisfaction that the September meeting in New York between the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Prince Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah, and President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar had already led to a concrete cooperation agreement between Kuwait’s KFAED and Slovenia’s ITF. At that meeting, the leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation in the humanitarian field.
Director General Sh. Al-Bahar emphasized his satisfaction that this humanitarian cooperation demonstrates solidarity not only between KFAED and ITF, but also between Kuwait and Slovenia — especially during these difficult and demanding times, when humanitarian needs caused by ongoing wars and conflicts are unfortunately extremely high.
