National Security Issues Must Be Clarified Through Facts
President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar firmly rejects any allegations or insinuations concerning her alleged links to foreign intelligence services or networks. Matters relating to national security must be clarified by the competent state institutions and on the basis of verifiable facts. She expects them to carry out their work thoroughly and swiftly.

These are extremely serious allegations, yet no one has presented any findings by the competent state institutions that would substantiate them. It is precisely these institutions that have the authority, access to relevant information and responsibility to establish the facts and provide the public with credible answers. This also includes determining who is involved in spreading insinuations that are causing significant harm to both the country and the President.
“National security is far too serious matter for insinuations and fabrications. If there are questions, they must be investigated and answered clearly. The public has the right to know what is true and what is not, and the answers must be based on facts,” emphasises the President of the Republic.
