President Pirc Musar Signs the Book of Condolence in Memory of the Late Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter
The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, signed the Book of Condolence at the Embassy of the United States of America in Ljubljana, opened in memory of the late former U.S. President and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Jimmy Carter.

On behalf of the Slovenian nation and in her own name, the President expressed her heartfelt condolences to the people of the United States and to the Carter family.
She wrote that, owing to his efforts for peace, human rights, and the promotion of international understanding and cooperation, President Carter will always be remembered as one of the most respected global leaders.
