The President of the Republic receives letters of credence from three newly appointed ambassadors

The following ambassadors presented their letters of credence to the President of the Republic:

• Ms Kang Yan, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Slovenia,
• Mr Jorge Manuel da Silva Lopes, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Portuguese Republic to the Republic of Slovenia;
• Mr Esteban Assar Moscoso Bohman, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ecuador to the Republic of Slovenia.

Following the presentation of their letters of credence, the ambassadors signed the guest book of the President of the Republic of Slovenia and subsequently exchanged views with the President on relations between Slovenia and the countries they represent. The discussions also addressed multilateral cooperation and recent developments in the international environment.
