The President wrote the following message in the book of condolences: "It is hard to believe, hard to grasp, and hard to accept that the fire in Kočani has taken so many young, so many creative and so many devoted suns and daughters of the land of the sun. On behalf os Slovenia and its people I extend my heartfelt condolences to families and relatives of the victims of fire in Kočani."

Slovenia has demonstrated solidarity with North Macedonia by accepting four severely injured individuals for medical treatment. Two patients with severe burns are being treated at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana, where their condition remains critical. The other two were transferred to the University Medical Centre Maribor, where doctors are primarily addressing damage to their lungs.
