President Pirc Musar in a telephone conversation with the President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas
The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, spoke on the phone today with the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, who called her to thank Slovenia for recognizing Palestine as an independent and sovereign state.

"The Palestinian people are grateful to Slovenia for our firm commitment and efforts to end the war and achieve a just and lasting peace. Slovenia will continue to stand by Palestine in these endeavours," the President of the Republic of Slovenia said after the telephone conversation.
