President meets with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe

During the meeting, the President highlighted that the Council of Europe is an important part of Slovenia's commitment to and dedication to strong multilateralism.

The two interlocutors discussed the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the war in Ukraine, the implementation of rulings by the European Court of Human Rights, the prevention of violence against women, the human right to a clean and healthy environment, and the prevention of intolerance and hostility. They also touched on the use of artificial intelligence and the protection of personal data.
