They confirmed the excellent relations between the two countries during their conversation. The President emphasized that Slovenia is and remains a steadfast ally of the United States and a trusted partner in the North Atlantic Alliance.

Among other topics, they also touched on the war in Ukraine. "In resolving this pressing issue, it is essential to adhere to the fundamental provisions of the Charter of the United Nations, for which Slovenia, as a strong advocate of upholding international law, is firmly committed. At the same time, we rely on its wisdom in seeking a formula for a fair resolution of the conflict," President Pirc Musar emphasized.
