President of the Republic receives Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China
The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi, who is on an official visit to Slovenia. The two assessed relations between the two countries as very good and expressed their readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on the economy.

The discussion also addressed current global challenges faced by the international community. On this occasion, both underlined the importance of diplomacy and the peaceful resolution of disputes. The President especially emphasized the necessity of respecting the Charter of the United Nations and international law as the foundations of global stability and security. They also discussed cooperation in tackling the climate crisis.
The meeting confirmed the commitment of Slovenia and China to further strengthening friendly and partnership relations based on mutual respect and cooperation.
