Visit of Finnish Santa Claus to the Presidential Palace

Santa Claus was accompanied by the Finnish Ambassador, Pertti Anttinen, and the Honorary Consul of Finland, Gregor Benčina. Children from Rahela's Kindergarten – Montessori Children's House also attended the reception and delighted the President and Santa Claus with their recitations and cheerful songs. Together, they read the popular picture book Muca Copatarica (The Slipper Keeper Kitty) by Ela Peroci.

The children told the President about their special Christmas project: making heartfelt cards with wishes to bring joy to the residents of a senior citizens' centre. The President expressed her gratitude for their thoughtful gesture towards the elderly and emphasised how such acts of kindness filled her with positive energy. She encouraged the children to grow into people who believe in the goodness of the world and work to keep it that way.
