The President and Mojca Lavrenčič spoke about music, the art of leadership, courage and perseverance, as well as what it means to step onto the world’s great stages while remaining true to yourself.
Mojca Lavrenčič is one of the most promising representatives of Slovenia’s young generation of conductors. She studied conducting at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and further honed her skills in Switzerland. She has conducted numerous opera and ballet productions and collaborated with renowned Slovenian and international orchestras.
In 2023, she made her debut at the renowned Teatro Massimo in Palermo. This year, she achieved remarkable international success by winning the prestigious La Maestra conducting competition in Paris, along with several other awards.
