Newly appointed ambassadors presented their letters of credence to the President of the Republic

Today, four newly appointed ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary presented their letters of credence to the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar.

The letters of credence were presented to the President of the Republic by:

  • the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Bakayev,
  • the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zimbabwe Alice Mashingaidze,
  • the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic Talantbek Kushchubekov and
  • the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Burundi Espérance Ndayizeye.


After the presentation of their credentials, ambassadors signed the guestbook of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, and had a conversation with president Pirc Musar.

President Pirc Musar and the newly appointed ambassadors discussed bilateral relations and economic cooperation between countries, as well as multilateral cooperation, especially within the framework of the United Nations. They also exchanged views on the fight against climate change, the rule of law and human rights.
