President Pirc Musar receives the Foreign Minister of Montenegro

The President of the Republic and Minister Ivanović dedicated most of their talks to the situation in the Western Balkans, reaffirming that the enlargement of the European Union to the countries of the region is an important factor for stability in the area.

Minister Ivanović briefed the President on the situation in the country and stressed that Montenegro's integration process to the European Union is a political priority. He thanked the Slovenian President for Slovenia's support in this process.

They confirmed good relations in other areas as well. President Pirc Musar will visit Montenegro in the second half of April - her official visit will follow President Milatović's official visit to Slovenia in November 2023. During the visit to Montenegro, a business conference will be held with the participation of Slovenian and Montenegrin companies, which will open up opportunities for even better economic cooperation between the two countries.
