Health reform – timely, high-quality and accessible healthcare for everyone

The current situation, in which more than 100,000 people do not have their own family doctor, is unsustainable. As is the fact that 200,000 women do not have their chosen gynaecologist and half a million Slovenian residents do not have a dentist, while there are long waiting periods for urgent medical procedures, frequently too long. All of the above did not happen overnight and it cannot be solved that way. We must reach a consensus on how to ensure timely, high-quality and accessible healthcare for everyone in the public healthcare system. We have to determine which services in the public health system can be entrusted to concessionaires who are also part of public healthcare and where private initiative can be included.

Objective: No one is excluded from health services when they need them.
